Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the MP3Juice website, why, and what choices you have. In short: MP3Juice has no user accounts, sets no tracking cookies of its own and runs no analytics. Some embedded third-party services do process data, and we describe them below.
Information we process
Server logs
Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information for every request:
- IP address
- Browser and device type (user agent)
- Date and time of the request
- The page address (URL) requested
We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, for example to detect abuse, block attacks and fix errors. Logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Search queries
When you search on MP3Juice, the text you type is sent to the music metadata service we use to find matching songs and artists. Search terms also appear in the page address, so they are included in the server logs described above. Please do not type personal information into the search box.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use this only to answer you and keep the message for as long as needed to handle your request or any related legal matter.
Cookies and analytics
MP3Juice itself does not set tracking cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools on its own pages.
Third-party services embedded in the site may set their own cookies, as described below.
Third-party services
Preview player
Song pages include a YouTube preview player. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (the youtube-nocookie.com domain) and only loads after you tap play. Once loaded, YouTube receives information such as your IP address and may store data in your browser according to its own privacy policy.
Conversion tool
The download panel on song pages (MP3 and MP4 formats) is part of an embedded conversion tool run by a third party. When you use it, that provider receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address and the track you requested. The tool may:
- Set its own cookies or use similar storage
- Run bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) to check that requests come from people
- Show advertising or open a page from an advertising partner when you click download
These providers process data under their own privacy policies, and MP3Juice does not control what they collect. If a new tab opens that you did not expect, you can close it. Do not install software or enter personal details on pages you did not choose to visit.
Children
MP3Juice is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep data
- Server logs: a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your request and any related legal obligations
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we have no accounts and keep very little data, we may need details such as the approximate time and IP address of your visit to find any log entries. For data processed by third-party services, please contact those providers directly or use the controls they offer.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect the site and its logs. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the services it uses change, for example if we add analytics in the future. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
