Frequently asked questions
What is MP3Juice?
MP3Juice is a free website for searching songs and saving them as MP3 audio files, or as MP4 audio or MP4 video. You search by song or artist, open the song page, play a short preview, choose a format and tap Download. It runs in the browser on phones and computers, and it does not host any audio or video files itself.
How do I download an MP3 with MP3Juice?
Type a song title or artist into the search box and pick the right result. On the song page, play the preview if you want to check the track, then keep MP3 selected (or pick MP4 audio or MP4 video) and tap Download. The embedded conversion tool prepares the file, and your browser saves it to your device.
Can I use MP3Juice on iPhone?
Yes. Open MP3Juice in Safari or another browser, find the song, choose MP3 or MP4 and tap Download. Safari saves the file to the Downloads folder in the Files app. You can play it from Files or add it to a music player app that supports local files.
Can I use MP3Juice on Android?
Yes. Download MP3s with the website in Chrome or any other Android browser, and install the official MP3Juice app for Android if you also want a music player with playlists. Downloaded MP3 files usually appear in the Downloads folder and in music apps that read files stored on your phone.
Is MP3Juice free?
Yes, MP3Juice is free to use. There is no subscription and no payment is needed to search or to download MP3 files. The third-party conversion tool may show advertising, which is how such services are usually funded.
Do I need to sign up or log in?
No. MP3Juice has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. You can search and download straight away without giving an email address or any other personal details.
Where are my downloaded MP3 files saved?
Files go to your browser's default download location. On Windows and macOS this is usually the Downloads folder. On Android it is the Downloads folder, and on iPhone it is Downloads in the Files app. You can change the location in your browser settings.
What audio quality do MP3Juice downloads have?
Quality depends on the source audio and on what the conversion tool produces for that track, so it can vary from song to song. MP3Juice does not promise a fixed bitrate. Our guide on MP3 bitrate explains what the numbers mean and how to check a file.
Why does a download take longer for some songs?
The conversion tool prepares each file when you request it. Long tracks and newly released songs can take a few extra seconds. If nothing happens after a minute, refresh the page and try again, or see our troubleshooting guide.
Can I download long videos or full albums?
Videos longer than 30 minutes are not supported, so long mixes, full albums uploaded as one video and live streams usually cannot be converted. Search for individual tracks instead. MP3Juice offers MP3 audio, MP4 audio and MP4 video, but the 30-minute limit applies to all three.
Is MP3Juice safe to use?
The MP3Juice website does not ask you to install anything and does not need an account. The conversion tool may open an advertising page when you click Download. Close any tab you did not expect, never install software it suggests, and keep your browser up to date.
Is there an MP3Juice app?
There is an official MP3Juice app for Android, which you can find on our app page. An iOS app is coming soon. Until then, iPhone and iPad users can use the website in any browser.
Which languages does MP3Juice support?
The site is available in six languages: Bahasa Indonesia, English, Español, Français, Português and Türkçe. You can switch language from the site menu.
Is it legal to download music with MP3Juice?
It depends on the music and on the law where you live. Downloading your own uploads, copyright-free tracks or music the artist allows you to save is generally fine. Downloading copyrighted music without permission may not be. You are responsible for what you download.
What can I do if a song is not found or a download fails?
Try a shorter search with just the song title and artist name, and check the spelling. If a download fails, refresh the page and try once more. Our guide on MP3Juice not working lists the most common fixes.
How do I report a copyright problem?
If you own the rights to a song and want a page removed from MP3Juice, send a notice as described on our DMCA page. We review each complete notice and remove the affected links and pages from our search index.
